The 3 acre field, has now become The Cottage Garden.

Set amongst a selection of small trees and fine shrubs with cottage-style borders overflowing with colour from April through to October. Roses and perennials mingle with annuals, dahlias, ornamental grasses, late-spring bulbs and many other exuberant plants including those less familiar. The garden is a distinct style that uses informal design, traditional materials, dense plantings and a mixture of both ornamental and edible plants. Quintessentially English in form and nature, take time to wander through hidden pathways and admire stunning displays, continually changing throughout the seasons. The classic White Garden, the Rose Garden, grass terraces showing off white stemmed Himalayan Birch. A peaceful lily pond decorated with dragonflies and marginal plants all add to the tranquil feel of the garden. A cascading garden feature brings the gentle movement of water trickling over Yorkshire stone.
